Many of our Court Observers see things happening in immigration court that they do not completely understand. Such as:

  • Why are people being removed when they have American-born children here?
  • She is married to an American citizen why is she getting deported?
  • Why do they deport the father who is working, but leave the rest of the family with no means of support?
  • How did this family end up in court?

AIR wants to provide you with additional information about what you see happening in Court so you better understand what is happening!

Join us for our first Court Observer Project Information Session – An in-depth look at the Family-based Immigration System:

Sunday, June 23, 2019

2-4 p.m.

Harris YMCA

To sign-up: RSVP to AIR.4Charlotte@gmail.com

This session is open to trained Court Observers and interested citizens who want to learn more about immigration law and how it works.  Additional sessions on requested topics will be presented in the fall.

We look forward to your joining us!
